Cutting Edge Contracting, Incorporated is now owned and operated by Cindy Wilhelm and Evan Wilhelm. Steve Wilhelm started Cutting Edge Contracting, Inc. in August of 2000 in Frederick, Maryland, after working in the carpentry industry since the age of 14. Steve had a reputation of being an honest and skilled builder, with an eye for detail. On July 22, 2020, Steve passed away after losing his 13-year battle to melanoma cancer. With his passing, Cindy took over the company to keep the family business going. In 2023 my oldest son Evan joined the business. Our company goal is to give you a superior product, great service, and to meet and/or exceed your expectations.

Cutting Edge Contracting, Inc.'s specialty is the building and selling of spec homes with custom home features and amenities. We build our homes with the design and products that we want in our own home. We can also build a completely custom home when you bring your own plans.
